Default Squeeky side step

My drivers side nerf bar/side rail has become noisy, ie squeeks when I hit bumps. Tried tightening the bolts a little, but still not gone. Passenger side is fine. Guess its a ride to the dealer. Unless someone has any advice. Truck has 3k on the odometer.

I'd say "dealerbound" . You may fix it temporarily by messing with it . Let the dealer look at it . They may order you a new one .

I had a set of nerf bars that did that on one of my other trucks and come to find out they were the wrong bars for the truck and the brackets needed to be replaced. I am sure the dealer would fix you up if they are good at customer service after the sale.

Yeah, I'd not mess with it. Let the dealer take care of you under warranty.

Well got my lazy ass over to dealership at 7:30. Out about 9:30 they were nice enough to get me in. Said the bolts were loose and they screwed em in tight. No more squeek.
