Dude, the diablo didn't ruin your tranny, you and your hp did. Maybe it was how you drove it or it was a bad tanny to start. A superchips and a diablo do basically the same thing. Tune the vehicle for more power resulting in more stress on drive train.

Is the Magnaflow Catback system easy to install ? I have an 09 ram quad cab. What is the noise level inside the cab. I don't want it real loud.

the initial release of diablo for the ram did cause quite a few tranny's to grenade (mine included...3x..luckily for me, my tranny guy didn't know about diablo and kept thinkin it was the work he did, after last rebuild I went to diablo and asked about these failures, they immediately sent me a new crom which has worked fine thus far and 4k miles into the latest rebuild).. I ran my truck to around 155k miles with superchips, then made the jump to diablo because I wanted custom tuning. Before I got a chance to custom tune, my tranny took a dump within the first 1k miles. they rushed to get updated croms out to remedy this. superchips has better control of tq management then diablo does (hardly hear any cases of failed trannys on their end). I think Diablo has a handle of the tranny mishaps now which is why we don't hear about this stuff today.

as long as you get the big body (22") muffler, the noise level is pretty quiet in the cab. I've run flow 50's and a shorter mag (18") and altho they both sound great on the outside..the interior noise became unbearable. I'm extremely happy with mine now cuz I sound stealthy.

I am a big Gibson Exhaust fan. The sound is incredible and they tend to last a long time.

I've heard the DOD14M is really loud, so I was probably gonna go with the DOD18M Mag. Mufflex. Anyone have the 18? How does it sound inside the cab?

IMO the 14" is not that loud at all, expecially when driving light on the pedal. It just sounds more aggressive when I romp on it. However I did have an old chevy with duals and glass packs when I was growing up, so maybe im desensitized to exhaust noise lol.
