I'm wondering this, too as I might be looking into some Mr. Clean magic eraser myself tomorrow. Noticed a small spot on my hood. There don't appear to be any scratches in the clearcoat, but whatever this is seems to have soaked through and is annoying the heck out of me! Anybody else use this stuff with good result?

Magic Eraser worked for me. There were a few that took alittle more rubbing then others and the main thing to remeber is to keep it wet. Thanks for the tip.

Did you use it on a painted surface, your bumper or where?

Thanks for the info. I tried the cleaner wax because I read the magic eraser box and it said not recommended for vehicle body, so I decided against it. Since the wax didn't do it, I might just pick up the magic eraser and try it on an inconspicuous spot first just to see

I have rust spots every panel and even on the in side the doors. The dealer and "corporate rep" say it's "rail dust". They are supposed to "clay" my truck but haven't done any thing yet. I find it really hard to believe that it is rail dust. When I clean a spot, it looks like a needle size hole in the paint.
