yup..valve spring broke or the keepers came off...hopefully a valve didn't drop and muk up the piston/cylinder... if you can pull the head it would give you a true identity if there is a major problem...luckily when I did this to a budys truck awhile back, we only had to replace the one valve spring and he was good to go...good luck with this..

Thats my next question. Can I replace just the broken spring? I just spent 2hrs replacing the one broke spring and I dont know if I have it in me to do the rest. I obviously bought a crappy spring compressor. I dropped one of the keepers and spent most of my time looking for it. It didnt help that I put the new spring in there without the seal/guid or whatever its called. Can you tell I have never done this before. Honestly I think it is worth the $450. I was quoted to have it done.
