thank you so much. and sorry guys for getting off topic. so sterling, i have a larmie which already has the back up camera, hdd and all the gadgets, what am i expecting out of the lock pick. play a Dvd while i drive and being able to play dvds from the headunit to the headrest, anything else it will unlock. thanx again (would you mind sending me a private message with the seller you got if rom, from ebay)
Give this link a try, its where I got mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT You have the same radio as me except I added the backup camera. The lockpick will allow Nav entry while driving, front DVD display while driving, Backup camera while driving, a front camera while driving etc. Very cool.

I did all the install myself. Headrest monitors were a snap. Just pull out the old and feed the wires down and out and put in the new. The center console on my truck had a small access slot on the bottom so I was able to route the two wires from each monitor through that. There was a slot on each side of the console. I mounted the control unit in the center console under the radio. There is a nice bracket to clamp it to. Hardest part with working with the radio is pulling the chrome trim off of the center console. Its a bit tricky and you need a thin plastic screwdriver to push the plastic clips back and lift the trim off. It took me a while the first time since I didn't want to break it. Everything else is simple. Look online for the backup camera option. There is a PDF install instructions which explain how to remove the radio. It walks you though all the steps.

I am able to enter stuff into the nav while in motion without the lockpick. If you select the nav, then push the voice command button, youc an enter addresses that way while in motion.
