Ok so you've had your 1500 for over a year now, so what's your opinion on it's towing performance. I'm looking to buy a "10" and my only reservation is how the rear suspension will handle a 20' enclosed trailer with 4 Harleys in it. Your opinion would be appreciated (or anyone else's who has experience).

Smile Air bags

Hi, I'm a new member and just bought a 2010 1500, Hemi of course. What might help with towing are Air bags that you place inside the coils. Very cheap method of regaining your ride height. Very easy to install, and wire(hose) up, about an hour, hint, make so all air is out of bag to make inserting into coil(you don't have to remove coil or shock like it says) easier.
I do have one question for anyone, is the green wire from the the 7 blade connector in the bumper for the trailer brakes(older Rams was blue).
Thanks
I intsalled a Summit muffler(turbo type, boy did that wake up my truck!!!(now it sounds like it should)
I'll be going to Pa. for the Chysler Nationals next week(from AZ), so if anyone sees a Flame Red Ram towing a Bright Green Road Runner, just honk or wave or come join us.
Thanks again
moparjim

Consider the Timbren SES kit. Installs in about 10mins....and works. Under $200.

I took my truck and car down to Bowling Green KY new trailer pulled great gas millage another story. When I left everything looked pretty level by the time I arrived she was sagging. So I figured for the return trip set the car farther back to help the tongue weight it did improve some but she still sagged as I use my truck for a DD I am considering adding the air load levelers to the rear to help when I use the trailer. As you can see the pics she's squatting pretty good.
Any thoughts would be great. I knew I should of kept 05 2500HD

after 500+ miles we made our destination

taking my buddies car home broke an axle

With the coil springs, a weight distribution set up is a must.
