Default Tape on air deflectors... just wondering

if anyone has tried removing those after a year or two. Any paint damage? Reason I'm asking, just got my new set from JC Whitney, still in package and was thinking of returning for in channel.

I've removed a lot of stick on items after a lot more than a year or two.

Get some 3M Adhesive Remover. It comes in a spray can and you can find it at NAPA stores for sure. Some of the other major auto parts chains may have it as well.

Just spray some at the top of the adhesive section, let set 5 - 10 minutes, then peel off. Use a soft rag with more remover on it to remove any lingering adhesive and yer good.

thanks! I ended up installing the vents but still not sure if I like them. Figured I will see how these act on the interstate and hold up. If it's annoying, they will be removed. Picking up a can of that to keep on hand.

Check out this post, it will save you a ton of elbow grease if you decide to take them or any adhesive type thing off.

I've had mine on for 3 years with no problems at all.
