Yeah. . . it's pretty close. I have that size on my '07 with the stock rims ('till tomorrow. . . see other thread) Not all tires are exactly the same dimensions however, my Toyo A/T's fit without a lift, but rubbed the upper A-arm slightly at full crank. I put a 2.5" leveling kit on and guess what? They still rubbed at full crank. Apparently, from what I've read on this forum, 1/4" spacers on the front eliminate this issue with the stock 20" rims, but I just got used to never turning the steering wheel all the way to full stop, and ran the tires for 50,000 miles with no problems.

. . . your experience, using a different tire, may be different but a spacer and a leveling kit is probably a good idea.

Ram Country,
Well done first of all, EXCELLENT list and plenty of info.
Question in regards to the BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2.
How would you classify the road noise? Is it overly excessive? Would it be a Hummmmm or a Drone? Given it is an aggressive tread pattern. Unfortunately I have to get to the trail first!!!

I have narrowed my choices down I need help with the final choice.
These tires are all within $15 of each other and will be mounted on procomp 1069's

Please let me know what experiences you've had with these.

What I am looking for out of the tires...
40k+ mile life
good in snow and ice
good for mild off roading 4-6 times a year, on mixed terrain.

1. Mickey Thompson ATZ 285 70 17, I like these the best and I was told they are the best off road out of the 3

2.BFG AT KO 285 70 17, I have had these in the past and they have suite well for my needs, that being said I would prefer not to use these again as I am sure there is something better.

3. Nitto Terra Grappler 295 70 17, I know a lot of people love them, I would guess they would suit my needs. I dont like the non aggressive look, but I do like that I can get a bigger tire.

Thank
