Default Heater problems

Hi guys I have an 06 ram 1500 and i am having issues with the defrost it does not seem to be working for the door windows. Also when I put the fan on hi it sounds like a jet plainein the truck. I do not know if that is normal and was wondering if anyone would be able to help me figure it out? Thanks in advanced.

it seems that it works on one speed only but when you change it from lo to high you can hear the motor working but the air does not come out any faster.

An update on my defrost problem. The re-circ door accualy broke off and landed on the opening to the blower motor causing restricted air flow to the vents it is going to the dealer to get fixed on mon. The service department told me that it should be covered under my extended warrentee but we will see how true that is. I'm also gona have them look at the front end its starting to bind up on turns i think that may be the bearings starting to go any ideas on what the front end issue is? Thanks hemibyrd for the link it was well worth it

The HeaterTreater link above has a video showing the problem and solution. Turns out there is a design error on the re-circ door and failure is common.
