Default C-notch, pipe, or nothing?

Hey guys, im going to be installing my 3/5 djm kit, im fliping the rear and im just wondering if i should do a C-NOTCH, PIPE, OR NOTHING?

what is a pipe?
and i wouldnt do nothing i had 2 inch drop shackle and when i hauled gravel it was like a scoop and a half worth my truck was bottoming out and that was just a 2 inchs and your going 5 id notch it

pipe notch it when you take say a 6" piece of pipe, cut in half long ways making a C and cutting ur frame and welding it in. it gives just enough clearence for the axle.


that is what i have done and works great. i haul stuff all the time. cars/ bikes/ quads.
