Default Need advice!!!!

I have the mcgauphys 2-4 drop with the spindles and hate the way my front wheels stick out!! They stick out about one and a half inches on both sides. The backs are great and flush. Also the wheels are 24x9.5 inches all the way around with a 15mm offset with 295/35/24 on all 4 corners. Now my question is if I put the factory spindles back on and then put a 2inch drop front coil spring on it will it get my front wheels pulled in like the rears are am I wasting my time and money trying this? I have read from some of the guys on here that the mcgauphy spindles do that but the coil spring kit doesnt. Is this true?

I have never heard of anyone complain of the front wheels sticking out with the factory spindles. From the factory, the front and rear tires track the same, and even with the altered geometry of a 2" drop, I can't see how it could protrude by any more than a fraction of an inch. As long as all your rims are the same, the front/rear tracking should be in line. I wish I could say definitively, but would be real surprised if there was any noticeable protrusion with the factory spindles.

the offset on ur wheels are too low for a 9.5 inch wheels. it will be the same on a stock spindle. you would need a 30-45mm offset or a 8 inch wheel to bring urs in.

You could try the spindle thing but I don't think it will work.

The best solution is to change the wheel offset as suggested.

The issue is complicated, yet simple. The arc of travel is the same, just 2" higher. So it really isn't sticking out more, it will give that appearance however, it also is more likely to scrub. I run drop spindles on both my vehicles right now, both times it made good fitting wheels fit worse.... I will just use a ziz wheel on the fender lips to fix my issues, but if you bought wheels and they didnt know it'd be dropped, you may have a 4x4 truck offset where the can and will stick out for the big truck look. Look for a 45mm offset and you'll be good.

Thanks for the advice! But got my springs on the way and I hope that helps! If not, im NOT putting the McGauphy spindles back on. I will leave the springs in and hope that at least pulls the top of the tire in some. By the way i will be selling the spindles if anyone is interested. Tried to post in the for sale section but it wouldn't let me.
