Default Need some advice.

hey guys i had bought my truck quite some time ago and just starting to upgrade it now. its a 07 5.7 single cab short box. i got a superchips cortex in it right now as well as a air raid cold air intake. and to be honest im not happy. seems slow. umm i got my chip set on the 87 octane performance level, i did change my shift points up a bit, it did some increase. i would just like to know what are some cheaper upgrades or tricks to this truck. there must be somthing i can do so its not so laggy in 2nd gear. i say second gear because thats where i find it lacks most.

thanks, bryn
