that sounds good, did you just swap the muffler? With those I imagine it needs to be welded up right?

i changed to a magnaflow muffler, nice low rumble when not in the pedal and when u get in it a nice mellow rumble!

yes mufflex is magnaflow muffler....almost 2 yrs with my 14'' retro. direct bolt on replacement and the do make 5'' tips to replace the stock.......

I was going to go with the 22" mufflex to replace stock on my sport dual. Anyone know if the 22" is louder than the stock dual exhaust on the sport?

Nope just a sawsall and twenty minutes. I have since cut off the resonators and it has an even lower rumble. Now it doesn't sound as low or loud as my vette but it does sound mean.
The stock muffler is like a 55 gallon drum and the flowmaster is the size of a loaf of bread. At least a twenty pound difference. Then the resonators are another six to eight pounds.
