Thanks, guys. I may try the "slow speed/higher RPM's" tactic next time I get the message since I'm very close to the interstate and can immediately get on it if the tactic fails and I see the percentages going up.
BTW, I have all the latest flashes, including J35, so I believe the frequent regens may be due to the local driving plus the fact it's getting cooler in the mornings here (Deming, NM).
Additionally, I'm a little suspicious of the fuel I put in my tank a few weeks ago. It had a whitish color as opposed to the greenish hue I'm used to seeing. Perhaps it was LSD instead of ULSD, although the pump was labeled ULSD. I'm just guessing here but the fuel color (or, lack of it) raises my suspicions.
You're correct when you stated that the vehicle should be driven for a while longer AFTER the EVIC warning goes out. I haven't been doing that. So, mayb e everything is normal after all.
