Default Tow Package '07 1500 ??

Greetings, Did Dodge offer a "tow package" for the '07 1500 w/hemi??
I also have the 20" wheels.

I have a sm radiator in front of the standard one and wonder if this is a transmission cooler, and perhaps indicates I have the "tow package"

Many Thanks,
scupper

If you only have the flat 4 pin trailer connector and not the big 7 blade Rv connector you don't have the tow package. I'm actually having a problem installing the factory tow package wiring. I've got the plug and harness all routed and installed except for the 12ga blue wire for the trailer brakes. According to my local dealer my truck shouldn't have the factory blue plug under the dash for the brake controller, but it is there. They say that the wire on the factory plug for the trailer brakes is dark blue, but mine is dark green. Every schematic I can find shows that my wire colors on my plug are correct, and that the circuit number for the green wire is B4014DG and is for the trailer brakes and apparently goes to connector C135 pin 11 and then continues back to pin 7 of the trailer plug. Since my truck didn't come with the factory tow package that particular wire can't go to the trailer plug, and is only a 14ga wire. My dealer told me to just cut the blue wire of my brake control adapter pigtail and splice in the blue wire from my newly installed harness and bypass the green wire altogether. I'm just wondering if they are correct or if they're just feeding me some bull.

Just came in from doing some wire tracking with a multimeter. My green wire dead ends on the aft side of the big plug behind the drivers front tire, so I just hooked the blue wire from the tow harness straight to my brake controller.

rottyrott/wvcoolvinilla, well son of a gun, guess I've got the tow package.
I've got the big rv/connector next to the plate.

Wonder "what all" is included in that tow pack, any idea??

Your info much appreciated.

Thanks Agn,
scupper

I believe it includes the receiver hitch, wiring/plug, and the quick connector under the dash for a brake controller. As far as i know that's all that's included.

i believe on the 2008 Ram with a tow package, there are a few things to look for

750 Amp hr battery
7 pin harness for trailer
Class IV receiver hitch
auxiliary transmission cooler

It is the blue "4" prong connector right under the dash, by the E-Brake pedal. Very easy to find.... Not a bad install as well.
