My wife does it with her keys in her purse when she is milling around in the monstrosity of a bag, I swear I could put the truck in it.

Nope. In fact, I have had several people stop and ask me about the truck. The Ram Boxes really seem to cause a lot of commotion.

That being said, my wife has a 2010 Dodge GC with the same kind of key.

I can't say I've ever seen it happen but I'm sure it's possible. Her GC should have the same window feature as the truck.

Also, to get the windows all the way down you need to hold the button down. I would have the dealer check for something faulty, it just seems unlikely that you could do this accidentaly. Just my 2 cents.
Ran is right... It is hard to make those windows roll down even on purpose. I have to hit the button a couple of times and be sort of close to the truck to even get it to happen.

I live in south Texas and it gets hot!!! On my way home in the afternoon, I usually start the truck, hit the unlock twice and try to get the windows to at least crack to let some of the 100 plus heat escape. Sometimes I get almost all the way to the truck before it even responds to my request. Pisses me off!

Either way, I would have the dealer check this out.

The key fob is least dependable when you are using it as directed. I have many times each week where I'm standing beside the truck.. click the unlock 10-25 times before the door unlocks.

BUT

Put the keys in your pocket......the range increases by 10X....the sensitivity by 100X....until your hand goes in the pocket...

I have had my truck start and roll the windows down and shut itself off, lock the doors and activate the panic....all in a 20second time period. All I had to do was pickup a heavy box from the receiving floor and carry it to the shop.

I really like my truck....and really like the features on the key fob....but sometimes .......

Every one is going to look funny trying this but...................walk away from your truck, a good way------ hold the FOB under your chin the range will increase ALOT, for some it has to be on the side of your head(I am not kidding), it is a good laugh, but it works,

Are you saying this increases the range even better than carrying a heavy box with the fob in your pocket!?

I try it.....

Mine just did this tonight- freaked my room mate out, She thought I was messing with her. I must have accidently hit the remote unlock I was busy and had keys in pocket. I had this truck two years, I did not think I had remote unlock on my key fob, I thought it was an option, i seen fobs with windown down on it, mine does not have that on my fob.
