Got it switched to jpeg and worked great. Thanks for the help fellas. So here it is, finished except for painting it. Brought the scanner home from work before and after the install. Before the temp of the IAT was a 168-169 at an engine of 195, after the install the IAT dropped to 131-132 at the same engine temp. Huge difference. Let me know what y'all think, good design or bad? Thanks!!

Looks good. Those are great results. I'm a tad onclear on the roll of the 4" PVC. Does that run forward so that the box effectively is drawing cooler air from farther away from the hot engine? I like the concept.

Yes sir, it runs to the front of the engine next to the radaitor so it draws in cooler air from outside the engine bay. My idea was to build an air tight box around the filter for it to sit in, and to put the 4" PVC with the rectangle aluminum head on it as far front as i could get. That a way it draws in cooler air while also raming the air into the airtight box, and with it being airtight the only place for all the air to go is forced into the engine. seems to work real well. only draws air from the front of the engine where the 4" pipe runs. and you can see the metal box built around the filter flex because it so airtight.

Thanks by the way also.

Looks really cool, like the idea and design. Would love to see some daytime pics maybe when you have it painted and all.

Maybe it's just because I am use to seeing Manufactured CAI's, but that thing looks huge to me. How much $ did it set you back?

Hey I like the set-up you built, good job! Can you give a little more info on the box you built? I like my intake but I would rather enclose the filter in order to draw cooler air
