Default Turbo or Supercharger?

I got the 05 single cab with the 3.7L and was wondering if it was possible to somehow put a turbo, or supercharger on it. If so where can I find one.

It would probably be cheaper to find a used hemi some where

But...a centrifigal supercharger or a custom turbo setup would be easiest. I'm not sure they make kits for that engine, but, you could always fabricate one to work.

Squires Turbo Systems makes a universal single turbo kit that has been put on the 3.7L V6.

Either is good, but really depends if you want low end power or top end power.

Superchargers give power off the line from the instant you step on the gas because they work off the rpm of the motor via a mechanical linkage aka belt. However, as you reach the top end of your rpm you start to lose the benefits.

Turbo charger work off exhaust gases and take a bit to spool up, but will continue giving boost regardless of rpm. However, they do have a gate which will open based on pressure so the system doesn't blow up.

Personally, I like strang3majik's, go find a wrecked truck with a good Hemi in it and buy the whole thing. Park the truck next to/near your truck and transfer all the needed parts.
