Default Oil pressure

I was wonder if anyone else has had this problem with there truck. I was driving home last night and the check gauges light came on and my oil pressure was at 0 and then would go back up to normal. Seems to only happen every now and then and only at idle i have 110,000 miles and the engine is not ticking and oil level is good i have always ran mobile 1 since new and change my oil regularly at 3000 miles. I am hoping changing out the sending unit will take care of it.

Default

it's the sending unit it happened in my 4.7L the seal to the electronics degrades and oil gets in the sending unit, it's located above the oil filter on my truck should be on yours too
