Default Wheels for my Harley

Ever since i had my Harley Trike built, i have had one tire that always goes soft, slow leak.
I have had it checked out by several tire shops, nobody can find the leak, my plan is to buy new wheels to see if its a leak in the wheel.
Its a problem because when i want to go for a ride, i have to wipe down the trike, clean up the chrome wheels, & air up that one darn tire after i build up pressure in the 60 gallon air compressor. What a pain in the a**

as it is now

i thought about putting these on it, but, they don't make a 15" wheel in this style

i may end up with these

I like the second one....the Ultra Wheel. Not a bad looking wheel to 'end up' with.

Nice looking trike. I wish I could still ride but can't anymore. Sold my heritage in may.

I like both options on your wheel choices.

Nice trike, Grizzly! I like the Ultra wheel too. I've used their wheels on several vehicles and I have had no problems.

Your air leak might be at the bead to the wheel.

well, i pulled the trigger
it turned out that the Harley trike has a Jeep lug pattern, also the same as a Ranger
the wheels that i had on it were 14", just about the only thing you can buy in a wide width are the old American Racing rims & they only come in chrome. I wanted to get rid of all the chrome that i could.
So i broke loose with the $$$ & bought some 15" rims & tires
MB wheels w/ BF Goodrich Radial TA

I think the ride is a bit different, seems more rigid, i may have to lower the air pressure some more

the old tires were put on in 1986, so you can see in the beginning of the post, they don't wear much, because the whole trike is less than 1,000 pounds

If the weather holds out, i will be riding this weekend
I hope that the Coastal Eddy moves out early, so i can take a couple pix from the Alpine area towards the ocean, the Alpine VFW sits up on a hill & on a clear day, you can see all the way to the ocean
