I ordered 9/16...it was completed 10/04, departed Saltillo 10/08 with a dealer due date of 10/12 (I am in Pennsylvania). It finally got to the dealer 10/27. better than my expectation of mid-November, plus I picked up another $1000 on the rebates. Pics coming....

I ordered about two weeks ago and everytime I call the Chrysler marketing number...I get someone who is rather clueless. They dont even know what the "order status code" is.

What have your experiences been?

BTW...I was relentless on my search and got the dealer to take $8K off of sticker...on a 2011. I want to keep my contact with them to a minimum. haha
Call 1-866-726-4636 and give them your vin and order numbers and they'll can tell you the date it will be done. I talked to them today to order all the detailed manuals for the truck, uconnect, and nav so I cam know who to work eveything before it gets here they said mine should be at the dealer around 11/16 witch is good since I ordered it on 10/25

It's just like the Old TRX, but most of the options are standard on the Outdoorsman, like the hitch, remote start. You also get the side mirrors with the light on them, you get the 32 gallon gas tank and rubber floormats standard.

but overall its the same truck.

Alright, I attached some picts for Rootbeer. Sorry they are from my cell.

Definately worth it to order custom...I got exactly what I wanted for thousands less than some crap off of the lot.

So I have had my truck for nearly a week now...here are my thoughts.

Quality: All is well except my RBZ stereo went bad (though I think it was the amp...but we shall find out this week). I also had some scratches and a burn mark on my dash that will be replaced this week.

The Truck: As my first pickup...coming from a Grand Cherokee...this thing is huge. I have been scared of parking lots and parking garages. It is getting more managable though. The rest of it is phenominal! I couldn't ask for anything else...except a tailgate that locks/unlocks with the remote as well as the ability to install the auto-dual-climate control on the Big Horn.

Mods: I have the WeatherTech foor liners (I love them and swear by them) as well as the BakFlip G2 (love it!!). I think I will be getting OEM fenderflares with matched paint (anyone have help with pricing/availability here?) and a possible leveling kit in a few months.

The one thing I HATE about the truck are the trailer tow mirrors. I thought they would be a great idea with the large convex mirror to see the curb and bed of the truck when parking and squeezing through tight spaces (...and they do really help). However, I did not realize the main mirror is concave (instead of convex like most side mirrors). I have never seen anything like it. It makes it look like cars 50 feet away from my blind spot are directly next to me. It basically makes the main part of the mirrors useless when zipping around in traffic. I might be changing them out for normal mirrors since they drive me nuts.

I ordered 9/25 and picked it up on 11/8...basically 6 weeks for me. The dealer did warn that my truck got there much quicker than normal because mine fit in perfectly with the dealer allocation process. 8 weeks is more the norm.

As far as the tailgate...my complaint was that the tailgate does NOT remote lock/unlock. It is manual locking only on every model.

ordered mine august 1 and didn't take delivery yet. It finally went KZ status (in route to the dealer on 11/12). As for pricing i don't know how things work in your areas but typically if you walk into a dealer and order a new truck that they have to get from the factory they SHOULD sell it to you for 300 over THEIR TRUE COST. the vehicle is presold and they don't have to sit on that inventory. I know my laramie was a sticker of 52k and i think (I THINK) my final price was mid 44 or so.
