I haven't done anything to my motor yet but the supercharger. I am trying to decide on what I want to do.

Well if you are stock block and not on forged internals I would def. not run more than 8 lbs on it. Than start by upgrading the head gaskets/head studs.

the biggest thing you would have to worry about with the stock internals would be the pistons.....if you let it ping it will take out the top ring land......other then that i wouldnt be concerned......

what are you doing for fuel?

Im not going to increase boost without forged internals. Im planning on doing one of the 3 things: build up my motor and run a lot of boost, get a built 392 and put my supercharger on it, or get a built 426 and put my supercharger on it. What would you guys do if you had these options?

Bigger is better . The stock pistons are the weak link in the hemi's . Seen several pistons wasted from too much nitrous or too much boost .

no replacement for displacement

no matter what you build or buy its more about the setup and the ability to tune it.....ive seen a stock 5.7 hemi sprayed with a 200shot survive for 2 years....ive also seen people kill em with a predator adding timing.....forged internals are just a cushion and will survive a little oops here and there...but if you dont have enough fuel and an experienced tuner you will kill forged parts also......what are your goals here.....

cupple question you 4x4. if you want a stroker here
http://moesperformance.com/index.php...9371cb41e9d73e

that what i going to do. You do have a tuner in your truck right? Also how much you willing to spend? You said you got a new tranny well that good. Well with that stroker motr you get the * Crank * Rods * Pistons * Toner Ring * Bearings to Install in your 5.7 HEMI Engine.
so you dont need to buy sepreate pistons. There alot you can do moe question jsut ask.
