+1. It seems the RER off of ebay may be our best bet.

just watch them. the best bet is to check the part numbers on them so you make sure you get the right mygig.

Great site for checking part numbers: http://www.wkjeeps.com/MyGIG_parts.htm#PARTS

Remember you want a high speed mygig rer....low speeds will not work, and an other sales code is not navi, or if it is, its a foreign radio that wont work either!

I just had the dealer pull out my touch screen 430 unit (RBZ). As part of the deal on the 2011 Sport Crew truck (their cost)... And I got to keep the old unit (I most likely will sell it off)....
They installed the 730N (RER). Talk about sweet...

Anyone thinking of doing this... Keep and eye on your dealer... The Garmin unit is a 430N and costs $600 less then the 730N.

Here is the difference (if this turns out)...

When I ordered my sport cc the only radio offered with nav was the 430 with the garmin so the 730 is better?

Nav wise, the Garmin is far superior than the nav in the older models.

I did some reading yesterday & came to a conclusion,
right now the 730N RER & RHR still works the best, it has more working features, but, it does not have Garmin Navigation, it still uses the Harmon NAVTEQ navigation but, it DOES have SIRIUS Traffic & Travel Link capability

http://www.wk2jeeps.com/wk2_navigation.htm
the new radio model 430N RHB , has the better Garmin navigation, & you can get Travel Link with it, but, the Sirius TRAFFIC was NOT available, it may be available at a later date, possibly in January

The 730n also has Voice recognition for the Navagation through Uconnect.
Meaning you can give it navagation voice commands while moving...

Either way the 730N is being marketed as the higher end one... Or at least that is what they are telling the dealers. The MSRP seams to reflect that.

Hard to tell - from what I understand there is a high speed and low speed version - not sure which on this is.

If you do not want NAV but want touch screen with the Uconnect... Then look at an RBZ - that is what I took out of my 2011 Ram Sport.
