Default 07 Single exhaust size?

Hi there,

just bought a 07 Ram with the 5.7 hemi, looking to replace my muffler with something that has a little more rumble.

But I can't figure if the pipe is 3" or 2.5"??

It's a single exhaust 4x4 SLT truck, can anyone help me out?

Thanks!

I have an 08 and it is infact a 3inch pipe. My set up is with a cherry bomb turbo 3in 3out staggered that works perfect and was a cinch to put on. Nice rumble but not TO ridiculous. though I am thinking about switching to a glass pack.

yup 3" but it's also Ouside Diameter so a new muffler with a 3" inlet would be 3" Inside Diameter and the pipe will slide right in the muffler, throw on a couple clamps or weld it and you'd be set lol but look out for that potato launcher of a OEM muffler sometimes it's a bitch to get off.

3" - Remove resonators add (Your choice of muffler) and dump it under the bed for a good rumble. Me... I run a flowmaster super 44 and not only can you hear it, but can feel it as well!
