Default Radio not reading

I have a 2011 R/T with the non nav touch screen and when I plug in my iphone to download music through the usb port it doesn't recognize it, but it does start charging my iphone. It does this with both ports, the one in the dash and the one in the glovebox. Anybody know why?

Also when I do the aux and use the usb port in the glovebox, it will play the song for about 30 seconds and then it will go silent, any ideas on what can be causing this?

Finally, when I play music through bluetooth it starts skipping and won't play the songs correctly, any idea?

The aux port on the dash below the usb port works perfectly fine, but I don't always have the aux cable available at my disposal and I would really like to have the songs already on the hard drive or be able to play properly through the usb
