Alright, behave you two. Randy is correct in the torque rating at 135ft-lb, and this is the info we should be giving out. I realize that the 80ft-lbs works, but it's not the correct torque rating. I would hate to hear about someone losing a tire on the road due to incorrect information they got on here. I personally torque mine to 100ft-lb, but it's a personal choice, not the dealer recommended rating.
Sorry Ramtech, didnt mean to give out bad advise and and become hated on the forum. Just wanted to help someone out like people have helped me out on here. It was just my preferance and i didnt mean to make it un safe for anyone. I like to torque mine to 80 and never had anything bad happen. But your right 135 is what it calls for. I will keep the personal tricks to myself. sorry again boys.
It's not about keeping personal tricks to yourself. If you're going to hand out advice that goes against the recommended procedures, then make sure you say so. That way people can make up their own minds about taking the advice.
