Default Recalls

I've had our 2010 truck since September, and haven't seen a recall yet. Does the dealer send these out, or do I just read them here, and call the shop? Thanks Doug

Chrysler sends out any applicable recall notices. If you want to be sure there are none for your truck, call the dealer and give them your VIN and they can check.

Allstate all you have to do to see if you have a recall on your Dodge is go to the Dodge web site. Here is the link to check recalls and other items. http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/index.jsp

Jst be glad your not me. Bought my 2010 in March and so far it has been in the dealer 3 times for recalls.

HVAC Damper motor
Computer issue
Key Fob/Sensitivity Issue
2nd Computer Issue
Cab Mounted Brake light Issue

Dealer never charged me a dime and has been great to me, just sad to see so many recalls on a brand new vehicle.

recalls on a model change are very common the first couple years, especially around electrical items and cpu related areas...the one disadvantage of buying the 1st or 2nd year of a model change.

Bought mine in September and have had 2 recalls. The latest one is K15, took it down last week and dropped off for the recall and an oil change. When I picked it up they told me this was the first they heard of it and did not have the parts for it...duh! They were to contact me when the received the parts, nothing yet.
