Default Cargo bed dividers?

Hey guys -

I currently run a bed divider in my truck - just one of those poles that you can extend and then tighten with a ratcheting mechanism. Problem I've had with it is that heavy objects will knock it loose, and it causes issues if I can't seem to get it at exactly the right height and what not. Are there any cargo dividers out there, kind of like the one that comes with the Ram Box, that you guys have had success with? I carry a lot of small crap back there as the Ram is our main family vehicle.

I've done some searches but haven't really found anything, beyond the bed dividers that you have to bolt in (the ones that swing out).

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance -

Many bedliners have pockets to insert 2x wood dividers. I'm not a big bedliner fan, but that it would give you that ability.

yes, the best & cheapest way is to buy some 2 X 6 lumber, measure twice, cut once

you can see the vertical slot between the inner fender & the tie down loop by the tailgate, there is another place on top of the inner fender if you would need a horizontal plank, i don't recall if there is another Vertical slot in front of the inner fender

a second way is the Mopar OEM Dodge Ram Sliding Bed Divider 09-Up

Description: Bed Divider -- Must be used with Mopar Pickup Box Utility Rails (sold separately)*
Item Number: 82211493
MSRP*: $338.00
Part Note:
Installation Guide:
Vehicle Description: 2009 & up Ram 1500

I tried some of the cheepo bars made in China and had the same problem keeping them in place.

Found this: http://www.saveaload.com/pickup-truck-bars.htm

This bar will not shift position and is a lot stronger.

Well, that sliding Mopar divider is exactly what I'm looking for, but holy crap is that expensive. I wanted something more elegant than a piece of wood, plus I wanted to be able to move it around. Already have the bedliner, etc.

That Save a Load bar is interesting as well, but I was really looking for something that would divide up the bed from top to bottom -

Thanks for the suggestions all - maybe I can get Santa to add that bed divider to my list....

I use the pole type that you can tighten, the only thing I have found is on some areas the interwall will flex. Juat find a solid point when placing the pole

Why can't they just make the same as the ram box for trucks with out it. It's to bad that doesn't fit in the regular trucks I would buy it now
