Default Power Outlet/Airbag switch swap

I just got an XM radio, and on the website it supplies for mounting hardware the in dash shows my dash configuration only the on/off switch for the passenger air bag is where the spare power outlet is. I'll post the link in the morning. I was wondering if that was stock w/o the extra outlet or if they swapped the two. I'm hesitant to mess with the airbag switch for obvious reasons.

If you are talking about the keyed switch that allows you to turn off the passenger side airbag you can safely dissconnect the switch when removing the panel.

i went w/ a different idea, installing it in the center console. When i took the dash apart however, it wont fit in that spot. I'm assuming its a pic from a model that didnt come w/ an extra 12v outlet.
