Default 2010 hemi...superchip question...help

Hey guys i bought a used superchips to stack my daytona with SCT. My daytona is down for the moment and i wanted to use it on my 2010 Crewcab 5.7L but was concerned cause i heard a rumor that it will erase your engine hrs when you want to take it back to the dealer for warranty work. So is this true and can the dealership find out it had a tune even though i put it back to stock. If not i would like to put it on my truck. Its not my race truck but i would like a little more power but not if its going to cost me some warranty work or give me issue with the dealership if anything happen to my truck

Please! Do yourself a big favor and speak with your Dodge service department. You will hear dozens of opinions here but you need to "hear it from the horses mouth". My local service guy is great. He is not out to screw me and always gives me straight talk. I would not put a chip in my new Ram until the warranty is out. I have a new 2010 which I love and I have the bug real bad for everything from cams, headers, etc., etc. I am going to save up and wait for the warranty to expire. I am installing a
AMSoil bypass filter system only because my service guy said it would not effect the warranty and would be a plus in keeping the engine new until the warranty did run out. Do your research!

I've installed and uninstalled my tune multiple times and my EVIC engine hours are still adding to the original total.

i used banks on my 07 2500 6.7cummings and it deleted my hours on my truck and in return it cost me 4000 for a new tranny!

thats the only reason i really dont wanna do a DIABLO on this truck, cause i could by a supercharger or a turbo for that much!

ok the truth of the matter is. will a dealer cut your warranty if you install a programmer??? yes and no!!! see some dealerships are total dicks. they could void your warranty for just a k&n air filter i seen it happen. others will give you brake even if they know your running a tuner as long as your not always breaking your truck. it dosent matter on the truck or programmer or any aftermarket parts your using. if the guy righting you up could be your best friend or worst enemy. i seen a dealer say that a a/c condensor blew ut because of a catback exhaust and that a k&n air filter will void your warranty. i also seen a guy with dynatech headers run his truck threw to get his rear diff replaced under warranty andit passed. i spent alot of time in dealerships and it dosent matter what you do it matters on who you know.
