Default 35in tires and a working ECO???

I just bought a 2010 Ram crew cab with the 5.7L. I want to lift it about 4in and put 35in BFG All terrian tires on a 20 rim on it. My concern is that doing so will make the fuel saving system (eco) never kick on. Would that be the case? If so I might have to look into smaller tires. Whats the best approach?

With or without ECO, your mileage will drop with 35's. Plus, the 'all-terrain' never was worth much for MPG. (Great for a lot of things, but MPG ain't one of em!!!)

You may consider a gear change. ECO is not as HUGE a factor in MPG as some would like to believe. Yes, it helps, but it's not gonna get ya 10 MPG better,,, or 10 MPG worse,,,

It should still work. Your RPM's won't jump that much!

On my 4.7 the Eco only comes on when light throttle is applied. I would estimate it at under 10%. I don't have cylinder deactivation like the hemi but I think the Eco is pretty worthless on my truck.

Are you referring to the cyl deactivation still working with 35s?
