I'm guessing it'll have a Chrysler 9 1/4 rear, and Dana 44 front, if 4x4

Wow, there's a lot of really crappy and false information in this thread.

First, the deal is scrapped since the bankruptcy and buyout by FIAT. (which I think is a good thing, as it will bring a whole lot of production stateside, small fuel efficent cars, and an Italian flair. Italian cars, even the small ones are all sporty. It's the culture) Second, late model dodge trucks were mostly all assembled in Mexico, Just like 90% of VW's sold in NA.

Nissan Titan's sold stateside were assembled in the USA, employing US workers.

The biggest problem with Automakers in the US isn't Japanese or foriegn manufacturers, it's the damn Auto Unions.

United Autoworker Union members cost the Big three so much money with the stupid grandfathered contracts, that all the new manufacturers don't have to deal with.

A guy in a chevy plant installing tires costs the company $85 an hour, when he only makes $25.

A guy in a Toyota plant installing tires costs the company $35 an hour, when he only makes $15.

Why, because the contracts with the damn Unions is all whacky. You want to see this country prosper, make Unions illegal, and tax the crap out of imports. Bring the manufacturing back to the US, and get the legal US citizens back to work by taxing the hell out of illegals, and get this country back to work.

Pensions and social security are a thing of the past, people are going to need to invest themselves. I bet in another 20 years, the whole world will be using the Euro for currency.

All of this is correct minus not all unions are evil although the UAW is now we just need to control the unions a little more many or simply out of hand. And not all late model Rams are built in Mexico and a big 3 built in Mexico generates more money for the U.S then a Toyota, Honda etc. built in America

Your right, I started to rant.

I am excited about Fiat coming to the US. I really really hope the bring the 500 Abarth here. Perfect little commuter car, with some pep. Imagine a smart car with a turbo, sport suspension, big brakes and a 6 speed.
