Default Fiberglass Truck Caps

I am considering purchasing a truck cap for my new 3500 Crew 4x4 and was wondering if anyone else has done the same, I have been looking at 3 manufacturers ( Leer, A.R.E and Jason ) that are available in my area. If anyone has any suggestions , recommendations or Pictures to help me along I would appreciate any input.

Depends more on what type of look you want. I've seen all three of those brands that you mentioned on other truck brands.

Personally, I'm going with that Back Flip cover.

My RAM now has an ARE MX series cap on it. I have used ARE caps and lids on other trucks. No problems with them.

I have had a leer on each of my two previous trucks, one was nothing but problems ( leaks and cracks ) the other was just fine. I haven't considered a bed cover like the back flip I need the the extra space some times and in Illinois weather is always an issue.

I've had two Leer units and had no problems at all. What was nice is that the paint match was spot on with both of them. One thing to remember...they will fade faster than your truck paint without a good buffing and waxing at least once a year. A lot of folks forget that.
