Haha .....That sucks man!

I have nothing BUT horror stories when it comes to dealership service. I'm a patient guy, but really I have NEVER taken ANY vehicle to a dealer service place and NOT had my ride effed up by them.

I recently took my SRT8 in to have some tires mounted, when I got it back I noticed that big friggen chunks of paint had been scraped off of all my nice brembos, the tires were aired up all over the place from 25psi to 45psi, and there was some kind of engine greese or something all over my interior!!!!

I brought it to the managers attention, he apologized and wrote me a coupon for a free oil change....... But before I could redeem it the dodge dealership closed down and dissapeared!

...and that was just my most recent experience, I've got plenty of others too. Sucks, but what do you do right? Gotta get it serviced somewhere.

That's rediculous!!! Perhaps if you are going to work on vehicles....wether as a tech or boob...you should still know a little about 'em. OY! I wish I was a fly on the wall when the manager talks to the dude...LOL wonder if he will use pretty colored crayons to convey his point?! LOL

Maybe he was so warm and toasty in the shop he forgot it was cold outside. Besides. water is cheaper than the fluid and he might have been trying to save you some money.

I've had this happen to me in the past with my last truck. Brought it in for an oil change and got the water added to my washer fluid as a complimentary top-off and listed it on the service receipt When it froze solid the next day I called to ask what they put in for fluid as it wasn't working. They came and picked up my truck, thawed out the system and it was more than 3/4's filled with water. Since then, I've always made sure that I was filled up before going.
