Default replace review mirror? anything besides just a mirror?

I am thinking about putting in an aftermarket mirror with a built in backup monitor. Does the mirror do anything else ie headlight sensors, etc? I dont want to have it replaced and mess something up.

I'm not sure about your truck but mine has a light sensor for the auto dimming mirrors built into it.

I was afraid the sensor might have also been for the headlights so I just put the camera above the rearview mirror. It needed the camera bad!
