Let's keep it clean. I'm mexican and in now way have any of those accessories on my truck. If you need to know what I am talking about everyone should take a look at socaltrucks.com. It used to be a magazine available in gas stations around souther california but now is mostly online. They rate trucks up for sale based on cleanliness i.e. the lack of use of these accessories.

I perfer the " West Coast " Look , color matching bumper , grills , ect ,
de-chroming , shave badges .
The ones that go overboard with the LV logos , Gucci , ect I just dont get it .

I never thought about doing a 60's Dodge , that would be sweet .

I too believe that it's your truck, don't worry about what anyone else thinks, if they don't like then they should build their own the way they want. Below is the Dodge I was going to build, however after my boss died I lost interest in hot rods for a while and sold it. Still would like to build it though.

I'm Australian and been living in the States (AZ) for the past 10 years and this is my first "pick up" and everything i have done is personal preference. I like to have a simple yet creative look to my truck but i REALLY like to spread around the mods VS having ALL cosmetic with zero performance or suspension and vice versa. I like to see it as "My Style". Don't really care if others label her.....with the exception of my wife.

I think it's all about thae owners individuality and purpose. I like my style to be Off-Road and aggressive looking but functional at the same time because I enjoy playing on the mountain. At the same time I like having the inside almost show-quality but not to the point where I'm afraid to take family trips in it. Still have a ways to go but it'll get there.

I really prefer a nice clean color matched, debadged vehicle.

This is going to be a long (but good) thread.

For me its a personal thing. To be honest, I don't really care what people think of my trucks. I have heard it all in terms of compliments and complaints. I have had people tell me in parking lots they think my trucks are awesome, great, etc. I have also had people get in my face telling me how stupid they look. At the end, I like them and they are very functional for my needs (most mods). I have had a great time putting mods on my trucks and I am proud of them (along with the badges that are on there from Ram). At the end of the day if you like the way your truck looks, what else really matters?

Also, I respect what others do, whether or not I like them or think the mods are needed. I am a truck guy through and through so there is not much out there that I cannot tolerate at a minimum.
