Have you checked out Amsoil . That a pure 100% synthetic oil . Thats all I run .

I agree Amsoil makes a good product but I prefer engine oil I can buy locally. However, I will likely switch my axles over to Amsoil severe gear 75w90 in the spring.

I work the truck hard everyday and run 10/30 with no problems at all.

Jeez, and I was worried about running 5w30.

FWIW, I've decided to keep on running the 5w30. However, I'm making the switch over to Castrol Edge from Mobile1. I've read that Mobil1 is not as good as it once was and many people are raving about Castrol Edge in the various reviews I've read.

I'm sure with the 5,000 mile oil change interval I run it likely doesn't matter what synthetic I run but if I'm spending the money I want the best possible oil I can get.
