Default TPMS PROGRAMING and ADDING A CHIP for HP and milage?

On a 09 Ram TRX, is it possible to program the ECU for relearning the TPMS with out going to the dealer?
One article I read said if it wasn't manufactured in Japan you could do it with an USB cable and download the learn program yourself.

I've also read an article on adding a chip to increase HP and fuel milage. Is there any truth in the use of these chips?
I have th 4.7 engine.

Are you talking about adding a new sensor to the sytem or just retraining them after a tire rotation? Using a chip to fool the PCM is pretty much useless but you can get good results with a programmer such as Superchips or a Predator.

I had to replace two sensors, so it would be for the ECU relearning of the sensors.

Do you have any links for the Superchips or Preditor?

Thanks

auto relearn for tire rotations and sensors: as per tia tpms manual chart - ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the placard. vehicle must me driven for at least 10 minutes while maintaining speed above 15 mph in order for system to relearn new sensor id's.

chr-2 relearn procedure
