Default Rattlling noise from pcv valve

So my pcv valve started rattling really loud , I could hear it over my loud exhaust !!! It's only at an idle that I can tell it's doing it , so I replaced it. Was ok for maybe a day now it's back to rattling like crazy !!! Any idea what could be wrong ?? It's. 96 ram 1500 with a 97 5.9 liter v8 . Thanks in advance guys ;-)

See if it stops when you remove the oil fill cap with it running . If so it may be a clogged crankcase breather .

are you sure it's not your catalytic convertor? my 96 did the same thing for the longest time, would rattle like crazy at idle and right above idle. only thing that fixed it was a replacement cat..

Sure will if you don't take steps to fool the downstream sensor.
