Default Got some spare money :)

after havin my truck for bout 6 months now i finally got some time to spend a lil bit of my change lyin around went with a K&N cai and a gibson exhaust. not too sure about the exhaust but ill post my findings and i figure its gotta be better then nothing at least until ive got a lil more change for some long tube headers and high flow cats also ive been reading up on the forum about tuners and seem to be seeing mixed emotions. which one is the best for overall tune ability i want to be able to easily play with my settings and have them really make a difference from one to another.

I think you'll like the Gibson exhaust. As far as programmers, I have the DiabloSport Predator on two HEMI powered vehicles and have gotten excellent results from them. The tool is very flexible. I especially like the ability to add or delete fuel at WOT to get the air/fuel ratio right.

Here's some real world, on the dyno, results I got with the Predator on my 2007 Ram MegaCab with the HEMI:

I have to say YES to the Gibson exhaust. I hve one on my truck and I love it! It has a great muffler which has a straight through design, which gives good power and sound. I have been in love with it since i got it. It sounds wicked and it is pretty loud, in cab it is actually quiet.

As for the tuner I have the DS Predator and I find it really good. It is a pretty cool unit since you can really tune the truck. Most turbo and charger kits use the predator to tune the truck. If you do not plan on doing to much to the motor then you can also look at a Superchips tuner.

With the tuners you will get mixed emotions since people like what they have. the thing to look at is the functionality and what you need it for.
