Default Allgig killing my battery????

Since I got the Allgig installed my battery has been dead twice. Is this thing modifying power settings for the radio or something? I might only use the truck once a week. One time when the battery was almost completly toast, the radio would come on briefly when the key was off (show the Mopar Uconnect logo).

I doubt that's the cause but it could be. Are yoe trying to recharge the battery by driving it? If so, that won't work. Chrysler charging systems aren't designed to charge the battery, only replace what's being used so you'll never get more than a surface charge on the battery. You need to trickle charge it for about 8 hours at a 2 amp setting.

Hi there. Sorry for the delay but I just saw this thread. Have you uninstalled the allgig and checked to see if the battery is still draining? I doubt it is the allgig but if you would please call me tomorrow I will refer you to Bob in tech support to have you check a few things.

Feel better. I don't think it is the Allgig but we can help him figure it out. Have him call tech support regardless of if he thinks he knows how to fix it. Our products and the can bus system is very technical. I would rather him call tech before he does anything.

Ask for Bob 1-866-477-3336 ext 106.

If Bob doesn't answer please email him. bobby@nav-tv.com
we are short staffed this week due to a death in our NAVTV family.

Ok.... To start off with, The NAV-TV support (Tony) is excellent. I believe that the dealer incorrectly had the 12V output turned on. This may have caused the battery drain, time will tell. They also told me that I have to run power from the allgig to the rear camera, again incorrect. I only had to turn the rear camera and double click to ON for the factory rear camera to work. I had an issue with the updater software crashing and I simply tried a different USB port on the computer for it to work. All of this was easily rectified because I had them run the USB cable into the upper glovebox for easy programming access without tearing the dash apart. See this link for where i ran it to:

I am happy that 2011 ram got his installation problem resolved. I am going to close the thread but I won't remove it so everyone can see that the problem has been resolved by my tech support department.
