Default Water leaking in back seat

I have an 05 qc and I have had water leaking into the back seat when it rains. Mostly its in the storage compartment under the seat on the passenger side (cant stow anything in there and it sucks) but when it rains hard it spreads to the floor of the back passenger seat. I have brought it to the dealer three times to fix it so far. First time they said it was nothing. Second time they changed the rear brake light because they said it was leaking. The third time they took out the back window and replaced the seal. It still leaks and my truck isnt under warranty anymore. Is there any other place it could be leaking, Im tired of the dealership and not being able to fix it and their customer service is terrible.

There are two vents in the back of the cab to let air pressure out when you shut the doors. I wonder if one of them is installed incorrectly...

Might be from the front "A" post and the inner drainage tube. If the water runs down the "A" post, it then might pool near the back seat. Just a suggestion.

i would take a hose with running water and have someone start pouring it all over the back while sitting in the back and watching to see exactly where it could be coming from, so that way you have a better idea and as for the dealer if they have it on record that your still having a problem with it they have to fix it until its a done deal. best of luck!

I'm having the exact same issue with my truck. My dad thinks it's the vents as well. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it because mine is no longer under warrenty either.

my truck did the same - the third brake light was the culprit. i put a thin film of silicone sealant around the gasket on mine to stop further leaking.

Default Water collecting in the storage bin under left rear seat

My 2002 1500 Quadcab leaks into the bin under the left rear seat. Doesn't happen when the truck is parked with the Left side higher. I've checked and seen the wet trail coming down the rear wall from the rear slider window on the "handle" (left) side. Could this be coming from the third brake light too?

my 2007 did this and the rear slider seal had to be replaced after sealing the third brake light it was not the problem. I ran the hose over and could see the water entering the cab.

Thanks for the info. Did you replace the slider seal yourself or have it done. If you did it, was it difficult? Advice?
