Default Anybody tried one of these cheap Ebay Catbacks?

I've been throwing around the idea of putting an aftermarket exhaust on my 06 Ram and ran across these cheap ones on ebay. This one uses a magnaflow muffler. I was wondering if anybody has bought one of these and how they are? I meanfor $150 im not expecting perfection but is seems like a pretty good deal. And how loud would this be on my truck?

I have never tried one of these kits but on the face of it, it looks pretty dang nice. What I can't tell is whether or not it's a foreign made knockoff. My biggest concern would be the quality of the tail pipe material.

If you get one and then realize it won't fit or you don't like it, there is a 15% restocking fee.

I like the Magnaflow sound myself. It's got a nice burble at idle, good tone running down the road and when you get one it, it turns heads.

I'm just not sure if this is a genuine Magnaflow muffler.

I just bout a brand new kit from edelbrock.com for my mega cab for $151 on clearence. it too about 50 min to install and i am very pleased with it. I wanted a good sound but didnt want to ask the passenger to repeat himself every time we are on the high way. Plus the day after i purchased mine it dropped to $140.

I'm pretty sure it's a real magnaflow muffler. You can also get a flowmaster one if you like, or you can get a no name muffler and the kit only costs 125 bucks. I have a magnaflow cat back on my ls1 and I love it. Its pretty quiet just cruising around but sounds mean when I get on it. I just don't want to have an obnoxiously loud truck and with this kit it gets rid of the resonators so I'm a little worried about that.

bought these last year for my 2004 2500 Hemi.... let's just say I recently replaced in again..... It rusted off after the muffler, the muffler was still good, just the pipes all rusted pretty bad.

They're NOT stainless steel.... Spend the extra money and make sure you get stainless steel, will last a hell of a lot longer then aluminized metals

I doubt it will last long since I dont think it is stainless. I took a quick look at it and it does look alright. Only thing that bugs me is it is made for all engine types and not just the 5.7l. I guess if you want to save money then go for it.

Honestly you can find a good quality one for under $500, like the MBRP for $371

Not a bad looking system for $150.00 . I too would worry about the quality of the pipe work .

TruckTee was it just surface rust or did the pipes rust right through? I don't really care if it doesn't look pretty. I mean my stock exhaust is ugly lol. And you wouldn't happen to have any sound clips would you?

rusted completely through... more then on spot, didn't last me more then a year. Trust me spend the extra for all stainless steel, it'll be cheaper in the long run.
