Great thread! I was searching for Z max after I saw an episode of Truck U. They were loving on Z Max and something called Shark Hide that cleans aluminum. I have 10 year old Centerline wheels and the Shark Hide looked good on the show. Anyone ever used it?

Never heard of Shark Hide but I'd roll the dice on it. If it works that well on pontoons, it should work wonders on the aluminum on my 4 wheeler.

It's only a temporary measure until you can pull the radiator and correctly repair a leak. If you continue to use it, you'll foul/plug engine water passages and eventually you'll have the cooling problem from HELL!

Maddog, I know you posted this over a year ago, but since this thread is alive I felt the need to reinforce your view. Using this stuff is like using fix-a-flat on a tire that is fixable, well it ain't after you use it. Fix-A-Flat and Barsleaks are 2 things that any automotive enthusiast should stay away from, it only ruins the parts for a cheap temp fix.

I have had positive experiences with Penzoil brand engine oil for many years, surprised to read so many hate it.

I do make sure to avoid all additives like zmax, and others.

Had nothing but bad experiences over the years with bridgestone tires.

Never had any other brand of tire that i can say was a bad experience though.

I run Amsoil in my 2500 diesel. It's not cheap, but IMHO, worth every penny.
