Default New General Grabbers?

Okay, I was just at Big O Tire and my guy Wes had a new set of 33" Red General Grabbers just taunting me. They were so aggressively styled that I went ahead and had him price me some. $1,100 which is roughly $270 a piece I think. And that was with tax and install. Has anyone heard any reviews on these things? He said they were probably the best A/T tire you could find in a 6 ply since they're 6 plies with another belt of rubber.

The review I read says they're great tires that do well in A/T situations. I don't know if they're the best (BFG might have something to say about that) and I considered a set for my truck but the price was a bit out of my range at the time.

Yeah, they are pricey, but 33's for $270 a piece is a pretty good deal. Just don't know how I could swing that.

I haven't seen any specifics on these tires as far as consumer ratings or comments.

Thanks. I was hoping someone on here might have already picked up a set.
