Default Replacing 02 Ram Diff. Bearings 9-1/4 Diff.

Hey not sure if I'm missing something. So far the Axels are out of the diff. within the inside of the diff there were two C brackets which seem to hold the internal assembly in took those off. It's not budgin. I'd really appreciate the help seeing how Chilton's does not give you much on this part.

You need a case spreader to get the diff out.

Thanks man. I had to twist what looks like fluid gates into the axel housing to give enough play to yank her out. Now I'm at the stage of putting everything back in. Any tips on gear alignment? From the looks of it everything should just go back in and I will need to twist the fluid gates back out till the meet the bearings.

You should check the pinion depth, ring gear runout, bearing preload and backlash. Otherwise you're rolling the dice with the contact pattern. Are you replacing the R&P gears, bearings or both?
