These tires are all within $15 of each other and will be mounted on procomp 1069's

Please let me know what experiences you've had with these.

What I am looking for out of the tires...
40k+ mile life
good in snow and ice
good for mild off roading 4-6 times a year, on mixed terrain.

1. Mickey Thompson ATZ 285 70 17, I like these the best and I was told they are the best off road out of the 3

2.BFG AT KO 285 70 17, I have had these in the past and they have suite well for my needs, that being said I would prefer not to use these again as I am sure there is something better.

3. Nitto Terra Grappler 295 70 17, I know a lot of people love them, I would guess they would suit my needs. I dont like the non aggressive look, but I do like that I can get a bigger tire.

Thank
the mickeys and the bfg wont be that good in snow...of the three you suggested i would reccomend the terra grapplers they would be a better all around tire for you and cheaper too

Thanks -Great list!
Do you have a recommendation for a good tire for sand and snow? I don't drive this everyday but we do take trips in it so not too much highway noise would be good. I have a 2009 TRX4 without a lift or level and I would like to put on 33x12s on a 18" wheel. I am open to 2 sets if I need to do that. Thanks

If you're a 95% highway driver, I would look at some all-terrains instead (such as the BFG's) but the Nitto Trail Grappers are very popular.

Thanks for the write up RamCountry! Im looking into getting the Nitto Trail Grapplers but im not sure about size. I have an 08 Quad Cab 4X4 and im gunna go with new 18inch wheels. I dont have a leveling kit so my question is whats the largest tire size i can go with without rubbing? Thanks in advance and looks like everybody appreciates the write up!!!

Actually im not even certain which offset i should go with. I want the tires to barely stick out so i was thinking maybe +18 or something closer to zero?

The +18 would suit you good. You should be able to run a 285 series tire no problem.
