96 Taurus or some sort of v8 Cadillac will work as well. The cadilac fan are usually better quality.

I have been messing with cars and trucks for a long time and although I am new to Rams I must say that there are some vehicles that it is absolutely in your best interest to leave the shroud on in some cases. I know in the case of BMW's I have built up they run much cooler with the shroud due to being engineered for critical airflow. I am not saying that is the case for a Ram, but I would leave it on if you can. You don't see them much on drag cars and such but they don't get driven more than 1320 feet at a time, unlike a daily driver. I am going to do the same to mine and will be leaving it on.

From what I've read and learned others are also using the Viper V10 eFan and shroud to replace the belt fan water pump setup. Of course, the V10 eFan isn't cheap, but there are aftermarket ones to be had. The V10 eFan for the Ram Truck should work too.
