Default No driver brake,turn. Wtf?

I hate electrical so much. It may be simple to some, but to me it's a pita. Have a 96 1500 Indy, and have for some reason no brake or turn on driver side rear. Have tried sanding contacts, dielectric, new bulbs, fuses are good in cab. It did it to me when I first bought the truck but it was the fuses and it was fixed but now its doing it again and it aint the fuses and it aint the bulbs, short of buying a whole new socket I'm kinda at a lost. What am I missin here?
I am sure this may have been covered before but i could not find the thread.
Ya'lls advise to fix the problem is greatful. Thanks

It would probably be best to see if you are actually getting power back there before you go any farther with it unless you have already done this. If you dont have a volt meter you can usually find them pretty cheap and you will probably find another oppurtunity to use it in the future. Leave a message on my page if you have any questions.

Multifunction switch 50-60 bucks @ Auto-Zone. This thing goes out and causes all kinds of weirdness. Fixed mine

If you already checked for power have you checked the socket for looseness ? I had the same problem on my chevy and it had a wore out socket that looked like someone tried to fix at one time. I replaced the taillight and no more problems.

If his truck were an gen 3 or 4, I'd agree but his switch is mechanical, not multiplexed like the new ones.
