Welcome to the forum. I've heard of this from other new truck owners and a lot of them like the SuperChips programmer for the shift options it provides.

I have personally not felt it. My 2007 shifts nice and firm.

Good luck!

Take a moment to introduce yourself in the Newbie Section!

Welcome to the Z.

We have a lot of forums for all kinds of topics, so you shouldn't have any problems finding a place to post questions.

We LOVE pics of Rams.

Here's how to post them: http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73

my 06 5.7 qc does the same thing and i also agree that its not normal, took to dealer they told me the same thing , they say its the tq management system prgramed into the tranny and its normal, they say it retards the timing between shifts, my eng feels like it shuts off , and my body lurches forward like driving a standard tranny. this is bs because every independent tranny shop i called says its not normal, and no they are not trying to make money off me as i know some of them as im a lic mech who sends them lots of tranny jobs from our fleet. they say the tranny needs to be reflashed or the shift solenoids need replacing, never trust dealerships as they always will try getting out doing warrenty work, and thats the reality of the buisness now that they are all going bankrupt.

I have an 06 4x4 Sport model that I purchased in September with 21,000 miles. Mine does the same thing. Bothers the heck outta me. My father thinks it the clutch slipping. Its definitely not slipping. It feels like there is a pause in the shift and then it grabs again. Really annoying. I put the pedal to the medal to alleviate the problem!
